GROUND IN YOUR WHY

When faced with hurdles to jump over, barriers to break, challenges to overcome, it’s an important practice to ground in your “Why?” Why Amherst College? What led you to this moment? Who are you doing this for? Remind yourself as to why you’re here and who you are by decorating—with stickers, markers, glitter, and other materials! – a graduation cap (paper template) to manifest your goals and aspirations. All are welcome!

We’ll be deconstructing societal norms for “beauty” and envisioning a future that includes fat, trans, disabled and low-income folks with guided prompts. There will be a create-your-own nail station, face mask station, and possibly even a perfume station! All are welcome!
