The first day of Orientation for the Class of 2020 includes greetings by Orientation Leaders during move in, help unloading cars, luggage carts full of freshmen's belongings and parents helping their sons and daughters unpack in their dorm rooms.
Starting on August 30, 2016, Amherst College welcomed the incoming Class of 2020, kicking off an orientation program that ranged from Squad Meetings, to lectures, and tours and academic advising. Students explored the campus, got to know their classmates and professors, and learned about the many resources available to help them adjust to life at Amherst.
