Staying on track is half the battle in succeeding as a fellowships applicant! The chart below marks each stage of the application process for all fellowships administered by this office. Fellowships requiring institutional endorsement have early campus deadlines. Mark them on your calendar and make a plan to submit on time. Meeting with a fellowships advisor 1-3 months before the national deadline will help you plan to meet your goals. Entries are listed alphabetically and are updated as foundations release new deadlines. Dates for prior year will remain visible until new deadlines are announced so that you may plan accordingly.
- Internal Deadline: all application materials, including recommendations due for internal review; N/A means there is no internal campus endorsement process, however, applicants should consult with fellowships staff 1-3 months before national deadline to receive application support.
- Internal Interview: interviews with the members of the Amherst College Faculty Committee on Student Fellowships.
- Reading Review: some fellowships do not require an interview, this is the time the Committee will read your application.
- National Deadline: date by which application is due to fellowship foundation.
