Lectures and discussion will explore the foundations and implementation of democracy in many different times and settings.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.amherst.edu/alumni/learn/amherst_today/Spring-2019/speaker-biographies">Speakers</a>&nbsp;include: Lawrence Douglas, Javier Corrales,&nbsp;Ceridwen Cherry '06, Andreas Georgiou '83,&nbsp;Olufemi Vaughan, Leah Schmalzbauer,&nbsp;&nbsp;Francis G.
