Website, Mobile App, and Online Campus Map
The Office of Communications provides a variety of web publishing services, including assistance with visual design, content, usability, accessibility, and search engine optimization. In addition to assisting directly with websites, we offer a series of help guides and trainings for website managers.
Given the complexity of digital design and communications and the necessity of ensuring that content is accessible, departments and offices should contact Communications before making substantial changes to existing websites or creating other digital materials, such as PDFs.
- If you are considering building a new website, the first step is to contact Communications. We will consult with you about the project, as well as consult with IT when appropriate, and recommend the best platform.
- If you will be linking to a webpage in a major communication, such as an email to the College community, please have the page checked ahead of time by Communications.
- Please be aware that if Communications will be linking to a webpage in a news story or other public messaging, we will update or refine the formatting of that page as needed.
In addition to overseeing the main College website, the Communications web team manages the Mammoth Mobile app and online campus map, and assists departments with branding and setup of third-party apps and web services.
