Below, you will find some helpful dates if you plan to request accommodations at Amherst.
Student Applications
Documentation can start now - you may begin sending supporting documentation for your requested accommodations. Log into the AIM portal using your Amherst email to submit your student application and upload documentation.
* Amherst email credentials sent in late May.
Housing Accommodations
May 29th ~ June 17th, 2024 - All supporting documentation for housing accommodations needs to be submitted to Student Accessibility Services by June 17th.
June 3rd ~ June 21st, 2024 - All meetings with Student Accessibility Services have to be completed by June 21st.
** If these deadlines are not met, we cannot guarantee housing accommodations for the Fall 2024 semester.
Academic Accommodations
August 5th ~ September 1st, 2024 - Students who have submitted an application and supporting documentation can schedule an interactive meeting to determine academic accommodations for the Fall 2024 semester.
*** Academic accommodations can be requested at any time during the academic year and will be applied at the time of approval.
