The report is received by the Identity-Based Harm Review team, which processes the report, offers support to the reporting party, and directs the report to the appropriate offices or centers, according to the following four questions.

- Do aspects of the report involve Title IX?
- Title IX formal process
- Title IX informal process
- Do aspects of the report involve community standards?
- Community standards adjudication
- Community standards adaptable resolutions
- Do aspects of the report involve bias?
- Bias Education and Response Team (BERT)
- Responds to reporter(s), involved party(ies), and/or organizations
- Ambassadors provide support
- The Center for Restorative Practices
