Black Studies Getting Started in the Major

To officially declare your major in Black Studies, you must do this in Workday.

When you declare a Black Studies major, the department chair will assign you a major advisor.  

After your major advisor has been assigned and you are declared, you will receive a welcome email from the ADC of BLST.

You should also arrange a meeting with your new advisor to talk about your plans to complete the major requirements for graduation.
