FENCING

ROADS AND PARKING
  • Parking west of Johnson Chapel and along Johnson Hill Road will remain closed.
  • Construction vehicles will be using Johnson Hill Road, Quadrangle Drive, Barrett Hill Road, East Drive, and Merrill Science Drive.

  • Octagon will be closed from February 1 - August 16, 2024.

PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS
  • The sidewalk connection immediately west of College Row will be maintained.
  • The sidewalk from Kirby Theater to the top of Johnson Hill will continue to Quadrangle Drive via Johnson Hill Road.

March 16, 2024 - March 24, 2024 (Spring Break)

FENCING
  • Construction fence will be set on the west side of College Row, and will remain in place for the rest of the semester.
  • Existing construction fences will remain, including:
    • Merrill/New Student Center
    • King/Wieland Quad
    • Mockup Farm behind Merrill Apartments
ROADS AND PARKING
  • Parking will be prohibited along Johnson Hill Rd and in the Johnson Chapel parking lot. These parking areas will stay closed through the summer.
  • Quadrangle Drive will be reduced to one lane between Converse Hall and Frost Library. Please follow direction from construction personnel.
  • Two areas of East Lot will be closed during Spring Break (see diagram above).
    • All cars in these two areas must be moved by the end of the day on Friday, March 15th.  
    • Cars that remain in this area will be towed to the South Lot.

Roads and Parking

  • Starting December 19, 2022 fencing will go up to the south and east of Merrill and the parking lot behind Merrill will be closed.
  • Six parking spaces at the East Dr intersection (Merrill Apartment parking) will also be closed.
  • Construction vehicles will be using East Drive and Merrill Science Drive

Pedestrian Walkways

  • A few pathways to the south of Merrill will be behind fenching. Otherwise, there will be no changes to campus walkways.
