Primary Competency: Supervisory Skills
When it comes to the Annual Review, goal setting is a crucial part of the process and sets the stage for the year ahead. As supervisors, it is important to support staff in setting goals with help them to develop skills and along the Staff Core Competencies, as well as goals which allow them to move forward the work of their area. This workshop will outline types of goals which may be set as part of the Annual Review, discuss best practices for setting SMART goals, and aid supervisors in how to best support their staff in setting goals.
This is a session designed for anyone who actively supervises others and will complete an annual review. Separate goal setting workshops are available for staff.
