Research Interest: The exploration of dance through the lens of Black womanhood(s) and how dance is utilized as a tool for obtaining joy, autonomy, and freedom within Amherst College.
Extracurricular Activities: Communications Organizer at the Multicultural Resource Center, Artistic Director of Dance and Step at Amherst College, BSU, previously served a year on E-Board
Post-Amherst Aspirations: To pursue a Ph.D. in either Black studies, specialized in archival research, or a Ph.D. in performance studies. Following my graduate studies, I hope to become a professor in higher education while continuing to build on my research with MMUF.
Something interesting about me: I have danced since I was three years old, but also studied Capoeira all through elementary school!
