Please join us for a celebration of Book & Plow Farm and our new pavilion!

The farm Core Site is located at 425 South East Street, at the top of the hill.

Our inclement weather location will be the Powerhouse at 10 East Drive.

Book & Plow will host an official "vine cutting" ceremony for this newest addition to the farm. The pavilion will serve as an outdoor event space for students, faculty, and the larger Amherst community.

The effort to build this pavilion, and to make Book & Plow a successful farm and educational space for the last decade, has been a large and collaborative effort. At this event, we would like to celebrate members of the College and Amherst town community that have contributed to its growth, including you!

We will be joined by Mrs. Annye Anderson, an important member of the Book & Plow and Amherst town community to discuss her connection to Book & Plow farmlands, and her work as an educator, gardener and author.

From 4 to 5 pm, the farm will be open for community members to gather and enjoy live music in the space. Light refreshments will be offered, and you are welcome to enjoy the Pick Your Own Garden.

From 5 to 6:30 pm, we will gather in the pavilion to thank those who have contributed to the pavilion’s creation, and host a conversation with Mrs. Anderson.
