The Arts at Amherst Initiative invites artists and students from diverse fields of practice such as music, dance, theater, film, studio art, and beyond to gather in interdisciplinary improvisation practice. PLAYGROUND is a space to expand our creativity together and explore the spontaneous richness at the intersection of artistic disciplines.

Playshop: Preview of several disciplinary practices and synthesis of methodology and approaches. Facilitated by Adam Levine, Anna Chapman, Charlotte Malin, Eleanor Goudie-Averill, Jake Meginsky, Jason Robinson, Jungeun Kim, SEVAN Tavoukdjia, Tori Lawrence.

Open Jam: Open to everyone to play, explore and observe. Attendees can come and go freely during the duration.

PLAYGROUND was envisioned and created by Charlotte Malin, Viola Instructor and Jungeun Kim, Visiting Assistant Professor of Theater and Dance at Amherst College.
