AMHERST, Mass.—The Amherst College Choral Society will present its annual Commencement concert on Saturday, May 22, at 9:15 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall. The Choral Society—which includes the Women’s Chorus, the Men’s Glee Club and the Concert Choir—is directed by Mallorie Chernin and Jimmy Laff ’09, assistant director. The Madrigal Singers, directed by Zohar Perla ’12 and Robert Suits ’12, will also perform. The program will feature music from each group’s spring concert as well as traditional college songs.
Tickets are $8 general admission and $4 for senior citizens and children 12 and under. (Amherst College students are free.) Seats may be reserved by e-mailing mchernin@amherst.edu, or calling 542-2484. Tickets may also be purchased during Commencement registration or at Buckley Recital Hall the evening of the performance.
