The third midterm will be given on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 8-10 PM in Merrill 2.

The material in Physics 16 is inherently cumulative: it is almost impossible to write an exam that does not draw on material from the beginning of the course.  Although you may need to use material from the first two midterm, I will concentrate the third midterm on conservation of momentum, collision and center-of-mass problems.  Since you have not yet had COM on a problem set, I encourage you to work on those problems in particular.

Bring a calculator.

Crib sheet

You may bring your crib sheets from the first two midterms and an additional two sides of notes prepared by you personally.
