[AP] This course focuses on the study of American national institutions of governance, including the presidency, the Congress, the courts, as well as political parties, some of the key concepts of American federalism, and the politics of governance, including the study of legislative processes, campaigns, political media, socio-economic elites and their influence on policymaking, and populist movements.
