Meet Our Faculty

As chief academic officer​, ​the provost and dean of the faculty has primary responsibility for matters of academic policy and for the academic budget​. The provost leads Amherst’s largest division, which comprises offices, departments, and programs that are at the core of academic life ​and those that support the administration of​ the college.
