Dan Saltzstein '95

Dan Saltzstein is an editor at The New York Times. He is currently editing in the Travel section, after a stint in Dining, Home and Real Estate. Prior to that, he was arts editor at NYTimes.com. Dan has also written for the Dining, Travel, City and Metropolitan sections of The Times, as well as Time Out New York and Photo District News. He has been at The Times for almost 11 years. Dan attended Amherst College, where he was features editor of the Amherst Student and co-founder and editor of A Further Room, a literary magazine. He graduated in 1995, with a major in English. He currently lives in Woodside, Queens, with his wife, Nancy and their dog, Mandy.
