Kent W. Faerber, '63 was the Alumni Secretary (and then Secretary for Alumni Relations and Development) of the College from 1977-1994.  He remained a resident of Amherst, and retired in 2009 after ten years as the President of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. By chance, he and Steve Grant were assigned freshman year roommates.
