April 21, 2024: Occurring annually in the spring, City Streets Festival is an Amherst College campus celebration of international heritage, culture, and food from around the world. The event features a menu of international foods, live music, outdoor games, and more.
April 8, 2024: Our newest Mammoths and their family members visited campus for accepted students’ day (another session followed on April 18 and 19). Text by Madeline Levine.
January 24- 26, 2024: The first-of-its-kind Sophomore Summit at Amherst was jam-packed with essential career education topics, unique bonding opportunities for the sophomore class, and creative exercises in preparation for the exciting futures that await the class of 2026.
Over the fall semester, photographer Maria Stenzel documented ways that students, faculty and staff have tackled sustainability projects within their various disciplines and spaces across campus.

November 10-12, 2023: Highlights from Homecoming Weekend:
October 15, 2023: Fall Festival included seasonal favorites (think mini lobster rolls, cider donuts, apple bacon cheddar grilled cheese), live music, pumpkin carving, horse-drawn wagon rides, face-painting, lawn games and more
Sept. 15, 2023: During a poster session, student researchers were on hand to discuss their arts, humanities, and social sciences research and reflect on their Schupf Fellows program experience.
August 28-September 4: From move-in day to wellness skits and tours of the Emily Dickinson Museum, Orientation for the class of ’27 concluded with a Convocation and a luminary display. Terras Irradient.
