Q: What object did you use to represent your work on the shoot and why?

A: I brought a Towers of Hanoi model, which we use to illustrate recursion, which is a major topic in a number of our courses.

Q: What are you looking forward to in the new space?

I am looking forward to being part of a large, vibrant science community.  Since we are moving from Seeley Mudd, we are moving into close proximity with departments we have not been close to.

Q: How will the building impact your work?

A: Truthfully, I hope it won’t impact it too much. The building may open up more opportunities for collaboration.

Q: How will the new building change how you work with students?

A: The informal spaces will open up more opportunities to talk with groups of students.
