Introduction
AmherstGuest serves two purposes: To provide WiFi services to campus visitors and to provide network connectivity for devices that can't connect to eduroam. This latter groups includes the Rokus, Chromecasts, Playstations, smart TVs, Echos, and many other devices owned by Amherst students, faculty, and staff.
Instructions
Campus visitors:
Connect your phone, tablet, or computer to AmherstGuest WiFi. If your web browser doesn't pop-up automatically then open it. You'll automatically be redirected to the Amherst network welcome page. If you've already created an Amherst network account, click the login link. If you haven't, click the create account link and follow the directions.
Amherst community members:
Before you can sucessfully connect a WiFi device to the network using AmherstGuest you must first enroll the device in Clearpass, the college system that controls access to the network.
