City Streets Festival

Val Quad and Webster Circle

Occurring in early spring each year on campus, the City Streets Festival features international foods, live music, outdoor games, and more. Flags of the home countries of our students are displayed, and campus pathways are given international street signs. Students are invited to take a break and enjoy food, fun, and social activities!

Join us for an evening of cooking and eating together at the farm with chef and food activist Neftalí Durán!

As part of this shared meal, we will explore topics of food insecurity, culturally relevant and “ethnic foods,” nutrition, and diet cultures, all over a hot bowl of pozole-- a traditional Mexican soup made with hominy (from dried maize/corn) and garnished with cabbage, onion, cheese, avocado, tostadas, salsa, limes --and B&P radishes and cilantro!

Earth Fest

Join the Office of Sustainability, Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, and the Office of Residential Engagement and Wellbeing for EarthFest, a Farmers’ Market-style Networking Event focused on Sustainability and all things Environment/Earth! There will be ways to get involved/resources on campus, outdoor activities, lawn games, food truck, live music, as well as tabling from environmental clubs and other departments
