The goal of the program is to facilitate thinking together about teaching and learning. The research indicates that these partnerships improve the
learning experience for all students, improve faculty understanding of and empathy for the student experience, and improve student understanding of and investment in their own and their peers’ learning (metacognition) as well as empathy for faculty.
