Amherst Center for Russian Culture Devin Fore, Princeton University

Devin Fore is a Professor of German at Princeton University and editor of the journals October and New German Critique. He is author of Realism After Modernism: The Rehumanization of Art and Literature (2012) and All the Graphs: Soviet Factography and the Emergence of Avant-Garde Documentary (forthcoming from The University of Chicago Press). With Matthew Witkovsky, he curated and edited the catalogue for the international exhibition Revoliutsiia! Demonstratsiia! Soviet Art Put to the Test (The Art Institute of Chicago) in 2017. He also curated a 28-session film series on Vertov and materialist cinema in the Soviet Union at the Reina Sofia/Filmoteca Española (Madrid) in 2017. His current project is on pastoralism in the German and Russian avant-gardes.
